IPv6 configuration problem on NW 6.5 SP8 Server

Hi All,

I have installed NW 6.5 SP8 with a static IPv4 address on Dell GX270 machine and is working fine.
Now i want to configre this server in IPv6 and finding problems with assigning the IPv6 address.

Followed the steps given in "Novell IPv6 Administration Guide", modified all config files and loaded the required NLM's. PING6.NLM is getting hanged when i tried to ping other IPv6 machines withing that private network. Also the machine still shows the IPv4 address when i check the ipconfig.

Please provide your inputs on this.

Thank you all.
Hema.

Re: IPv6 configuration problem on NW 6.5 SP8 Server

I looks like not a lot of people know much about this. If you can, I would open up a call with Novell to see if you can get any help with it.
