Install hangs

OES SP2, installing Linux kernel on a generic Intel based box, 3ware 8000
series SATA card.

Install progresses thru numerous CD's and hangs when 50% thru iManager
plugins.

When I left it for the evening, it had been running for some hours, with no
indiction of activity, other that the "clock" on the screen still going
around.

Any suggestions?

This AM, found it had progressed, after continuing, got an error, not able
to add volume object. Sure enough, edirectory (console 1) does not show
volume for that server. The server object is visible.

I know how to add mounted volumes to edirectory in Netware, but not in
Linux.
