Intruder Lockouts For No Apparent Reason

In the last week or so, we have been experiencing random intruder lockouts on some of our users. It seems completely random. Some of the accounts are locking when the user is already logged into the system. They only experience problems if they reboot. Has anyone else experienced this?

The lockouts are occurring on a NetWare 6.5 server running SP4a. Thanks.

Re: Intruder Lockouts For No Apparent Reason

Joshua,

In the past we have seen integrated products like GroupWise Messenger, where
the client is configured to save the password, causing intruder lockouts
when they had previously changed the password via NWGINA but not in
Messenger. Assuming Messenger was configured to autologin and if the user
didn't notice it was continuous failing it would eventually exceed the grace
logins and lock the account.
