Kanaka crashes

Have 2 servers running kanaka right now. Latest version 3.x. The were solid as a rock under 2.8.x.
Since updating to support newer versions OSX seeing its crash pretty often. Can't find anything in
any log as too why. It just shows as unused and would love to know why. Sometimes less than a day
they run and sometimes for a couple weeks. Has anyone else seen this. Wish it was as stable as it use
to be. I think the previous year with 2.8.x had one time it went down.

Thanks for any input

Similar problem here. But then also version 2 was not rock solid for me.

Re: Kanaka crashes

i have no Problem with kanaka 3.0.1, it works perfect, also with osx 10.14 Mojave!

Tip: Deinstall all, remove all files and directories, and reinstall. Please don't forget to have a actual certificate

How many connections do you have? Currently I am restarting the service
every four hours and have no noticed any crash since. But this is not a
proper solution, of course.

Re: Kanaka crashes

We had the same problem and found it was an issue with certain characters in the password. We found that if a password contains or attempts < > | or & it would crash the services. We opened a ticket and Condrey wrote that fix into 3.0.1. If any client has 3.0.0 or less it will crash the services on all server and never write anything to the log file. Make sure all clients are updated to 3.0.1 to fix this issue. If you are seeing otherwise let me know. I hope this helps.
