Logging to logger screen

Can you redirect the information that usually goes to the afptcp.log file to the logger screen? I'm troubleshooting a problem and opening

and closing the log file is a little annoying.

Thanks

Wes

Re: Logging to logger screen

Thanks, enhancement request will be entered. I don't know if you
sysops ever get a chance to mee.. Maybe Brainshare. But this might be
a
good idea for Novell to add as an across the board enhancement.
Something like trace=1-5 (for the level of info) TrDest=( logger
screen, filename).
I'll also enter that as a request.

Thanks

wes

Re: Logging to logger screen

Interesting ideas. As another thought, if you have a Linux/Unix
machine, you could mount the NW volume, then use 'tail' to view the
file dynmically.
