Missing Manage CIFS Services in NRM + OES2015sp1

We have installed OES2015SP1 in our tree having mixed oes11 sp1/2/3 along with Netware. We got CIFS installed and running on oes2015sp1 server for accessing nss volumes without Novell client for MAC users etc. However, upon trying to monitor and manage CIFS services using NRM, noticed that it is missing "MANAGE CIFS SERVICES" menu option in NRM. Would appreciate if someone guides me with the reason and how to fix it.

I'd guess you don't have the

load /opt/novell/lib/libnrm2cifs.so

line in /etc/opt/novell/httpstkd.conf

It usually resides at the very end of the file. If it's missing just add it (you can do so even via NORM itself) and restart the daemon.
If you like it: like it.

Thanks for your response. I have verified the mentioned line present in httpstkd.conf file. Any other ideas please!!

Does the /opt/novell/lib/libnrm2cifs.so file exist?

Is the novell-cifs-nrm package installed? What does "rpm -qa *cifs" report?

Yes the file is present and the rpm -qa | grep cifs confirms the presence of novell-cifs-nrm 1.7.0.53

But you do see "Manage NCP services"?
Do you login as root?
Is the library loaded at all? You can check this with something like
lsof /opt/novell/lib/libnrm2cifs.so
which should list the httpstkd process.
If you like it: like it.

It does show me Manage NCP Services and I am logged in as root. But lsof /opt/novell/lib/libnrm2cifs.so show no output. Please guide how to proceed.

Hmm.
I'd verify the novell-cifs-nrm rpm. You might also want to place the
load /opt/novell/lib/libnrm2cifs.so
statement in httpstkd.conf above the one for libnrm2ncp.so and run a "dos2unix" against it.
If you like it: like it.
