NOVELL CLIENT ON WIN 2K PRo

I am running Novell client on Windows 2000 PRO but when I boot up the
computer it does not go directly to the login screen of Novell instead
give me a windows login error. How do I set up the client to go directly
to the Novell login. I had windows 98 before and it was a simple setting
in the network properties but for some reason that option is not available
in win 2k.

Make sure in the Windows Registry that
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Winlogon\GinaDLL =
NWGINA.DLL

START | RUN | REGEDIT and drill down to

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
Look for the GINADLL key and make sure it has NWGINA.DLL

You get the Windows error then a Novell Login screen? That sounds like
you have AutoAdminLogon partially/incorrectly configured. Check the
settings:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVesion\WinLogon\AutoAdminLogon
HKLM\Software\Novell\Login\AutoAdminLogon

Both should be set to 0, or not exist.
