NSS pool deactivation

I have a Compaq Proliant DL380G3 netware 6.0 box with sp5 running
file/print, Brightstor v9.01 and Etrust Antivirus v7.0. One of my NSS
Pools is periodically deactivated with the following error:

10-05-2005 1:48:47 am: COMN-3.5-1196
Severity = 4 Locus = 3 Class = 0
NSS-3.00-5002: Pool LA_N6/VOL1 is being deactivated.
An error (20444(beastTree.c[2099])) at block 0(file block 0)(ZID 0) has
compromised volume integrity.

I have used the nss /rebuild option the last time this happened (about 3
months ago), but this error has come up again.

I just noticed that I am periodically getting Informational Raid driver
unload messages as well:

10-04-2005 8:48:01 pm: SERVER-5.60-1533
Severity = 4 Locus = 3 Class = 6
Device "[V623-A3-D0:0] HP Smart Array 5i Slot 0 ID 0 LUN 0" deactivated
due to driver unload.

According to Novell, this message is informational and is not an error,
but why would this driver unload periodically.

Has anyone experienced this Raid Driver Unload message periodically? Does
anyone know if these two messages could be related?

The driver should not be unloading on its own; that suggests that some
other operation is unloading it...perhaps backup software? Do you see a
message showing the driver is subsequently loaded?

Does this device contain partitions?

Our backups are set to run at 2am and these messages come up at about
8:30pm. I'll check with the CA documentation to see if there is any
reason why Brightstor or Etrust would want to unload the Array driver.
There are no messages in the error log that specify the driver being
subsequently loaded. Also this device does contain SCSI hard drives with
Netware partitions. Any ideas?
