NW65 sp3 install to new proliant ml370

I am having a problem detecting the cdrom of a brand new proliant ml370 g4.
I have seen tif 10096870, and know the server comes with a 48x max cdrom.
Is ther another solution than replacing the new cdrom that was factory
installed in the server?

I am using the nw65 sp3 from the iso.

Thanks,
Ken
