NetStorage and drive mappings

Hopefully this is the right place to post this. If not, I'm sorry.
I've setup NetStorage and users are able to login without a problem.
I
modified their login scripts to hide everything but their home
directory
(login script below). The problem is that their home directory does
not
show up unless I populate the Home Directory fields in the environment
tab
of the users. This field has not been populated and I'd rather not do
so
for 2500 users (one at a time). Is there another way to get the homedirectory to display in NetStorage?

Thanks,

Brad

Use sethome2.exe from the JRB utilities.

Hi Brad,

1) You should use END instead of ENDIF
2) Using server ipaddress speeds up the login process many times
3) Replace %LOGIN_NAME by %CN if users have names that are more than 8

characters

Something like:
IF <WEBACCESS> = "1" THEN
MAP ROOT H:=\\10.0.0.1\MS\%CN (or %LOGIN_NAME)
END

Re: NetStorage and drive mappings

Maybe I'm having a dense moment, but I'm not understanding the help
screen.
sethome2 <entity> [path] [options]
entity is the user? path is the parent directory? I can't seem to get
the
right syntax. Can you possible give me an example?

Thanks,

Brad
