NetWareVolume over CIFS and "SkyDrive PRO" ?

Windows 7SP1 and NetWare6.5SP8_with_CIFS.

In the Windows 7 i do:

net use g: \\serger-g\mydocs
This is Ok.

In the my Windows7 i`m use SkyDrive pro for synchronize d:\users\mydoc with SkiDrive.. This is Ok.

But - Cannot use SkyDrive for synchronize files between G:(CIFS) and SkyDrive.

Any body know - how resolver this problem ?

What do you mean by "cannot?" Nothing happens (ie no sync) or error message, or ???

This is step by step:
1. Logon in to the my Windows7_with AD as user: U2
2. In the Wondows dektop run "cmd"
3. In the "cmd" launch:
net use g: \\server-w\mydocum
This is OK.
\\SERVER-W\mydocums - this is NW65SP8+CIFS
User U2 have Full rights to the G:
4. In the Windows7 launch "OneDrive for Business 2013" and see:
Will be crate library at place:
C:\Users\U2
5. Press "Change" for select other place.
6. Select place: G:\787 and Press "OK"
After this see Error message on Russian.
lower the translation of the text from Russian on English:
"
Unfortunately, we don't manage to keep your documents in the specified arrangement. Try to choose other folder on your computer.

Does the "787" folder already exist? Can you also post the original Russian error message? Sometimes it may be easier to Google or search for that instead of an English translation. And I assume you either have UAC off or that is not part of the cause? Also, what is the version of Client2 you are using, if any.

Furthermore, do you just have SP8 applied or do you also have the post-SP8 fixes, such as any NSS patches since SP8?

Some quick research suggests that SkyDrive PRO may not be supported under this configuration as it uses SMB/CIFS 3.0. If you can, try to see if SkyDrive works instead as it uses SMB/CIFS 2.0. Its likely that you may want to use OES11 instead .... just a thought.

If it is a SMB version issue then I'd expect SkyDrive (PRO or not) to
also not work with OES11 since the CIFS implementation in it (and
NetWare) uses SMBv1.

HTH.

Despite of being late - OES11 would allow you to run Samba
(novell-samba) on it instead of CIFS (novell-cifs) and that most
probably would cure the SMB incompatibilities.
