Netware on D620 Latitude

Any idea what NIC driver I could use if installing Netware on a Dell
Latitude D620? Tried the native B57 and it didn't work. No driver detected
through install script.

Thanks

Re: Netware on D620 Latitude

Do you know what kind of NIC this machine uses? What is the NIC called in Windows?
Also, what NetWare version did you try? Did you try Nw 6.5 SP7 or some older version?

Re: Netware on D620 Latitude

I did a partial install of Netware before it failed so I blew the old
Windows out.

I was trying NSBS65 to play around with it.

I'll see if I can id the NIC. Could it be an Intel Pro/Mobile deal? If it
were, do they even have drivers for that stuff?

Also, maybe I could do a VM?

Thanks!

Re: Netware on D620 Latitude

They told me to use 6.5 sp8 ol; it found b57 and seems to have liked this
version.

Thanks!

I use several D620s in my lab. The Broadcom Ethernet B57.LAN v10.41
(02/01/2007) driver works fine. I also have one with Suse Linux 10 SP1
with XEN supporting OES2 Linux SP1 and NetWare v6.5 SP7 virtual
machines. Also works fine.
