Hi,
does Netware 6.5 have /is compatible with any network traffic
monitoring/shaping software e.g ethereal ?

Sure. Most any monitoring software can be used. Ethereal has ncp decodes
in it. Traffic shaping on netware can be done using www.trafficshaper.com.

Never used it. AFAIK it works fine, think another of the sysops has used
it.

i used trafficshaper once at a client maybe 2 years ago. it did what
they wanted.

as i recall, the developer is in SE PA and seemed like a really nice
guy. so, if there were problems, i'm sure support would be responsive.
