No support for iFolder 1.03?

Just curious... am I barking up a dead tree here? It seems all the
support I get on this board is geared towards iFolder Management
Console, not available for my version of iFolder.

Of course we support 1.ox here. What problems are you having?

Re: No support for iFolder 1.03?

Previous inquiries here regarding not being able to access my iFolder

server from outside the LAN. I'm supposed to change the 'Public' and

'Private' server settings using iFolder Management Console. Yet
v1.03's
Management Console does not provide for such changes, only v2 does.

Ok. Just to recap:
1. Does it work from the inside?
2. What part does not work from the outside? IFolder client or from a

webbrowser?
3. What happens if you try?
4. What sits between the iFolder server and the outside?

Yes

Neither

I get either "operation timed out" or "connection refused" errors.

A ZyXel DSL router, on which I've forwarded ports 52080, 52443, and
51443
to my server's IP: 192.168.1.10
>

I can access iFolder no problem on my LAN by the client, or by a
browser
http://192.168.1.10:52080

I told my DSL router (64.21.7.33) to pass port 52080, 52443, and 51443
to
192.168.1.10
(the DSL router passes my pcAnywhere ports fine).

Yet I cannot connect whenever I try from outside my office to hit
http://64.21.7.33:52080-- gives me a connection refused or timed out
error.
My server's name is TKGSERV. I set up my PC's "hosts" file to
resolve
tkgserv.tkgtech.lan to 64.21.7.33. Yet
http://tkgserv.tkgtech.lan:52080
still gives the same error (mostly "connection refused").

OK. What I would do is to put a sniffer, like Ethereal between the
router
and the server and watch those packets.
