Novell Client - Packet Encryption

Need Confirmation

Does the Novell Client v4.91 encrypt each packet as it crosses the
network wire?

My understanding is that packet signing does not mean packet encryption.
TID 2951164 implies that Client32 supported packet signature AND packet
encryption but I think that is false.

Please advise.

Thanks,
