Novell Login language change

Hi everyone,

i got the following problem. I prepared a Notebook for an english-speaking
colleague. Installed Novell Client 4.91 SP3 English, region code is set to
Spanish (we have a spanish keyboard) but the client shows German as active
language. I don't know where to change it.
Is there a registry "switch" that cures this problem ?

TIA
Stephan

Might depend on exactly where you're seeing German as "the active
language".

If you're seeing the input locale indicator on the Novell login dialog
show German instead of Spanish, this is a matter of controlling the
Windows default input locale prior to user logon:

Cannot log on after changing keyboard settings

The following thread shows an example of the related registry entries
for an English versus French configuration:

If by chance what you're actually looking at is the "NWLANGUAGE"
environment variable, this actually gets set based upon the eDirectory
user object's "Language" attribute. So for example if your eDirectory
user has "DEUTSCH" set on the "Language" attribute, the "NWLANGUAGE"
environment variable should be "DEUTSCH" whenever your eDirectory
object is used for logging in.
