Novell2Sp2 on Win7Sp1 -> No drives?
hello,
we recently installed nc2sp2 on some of our Windows 7 Sp1 clients.
Now some of them do not map their drives after successful login.
Anyone else with these problems? Perhaps downgrading to NC IR9?
thx,
hudo

If they login again from the desktop do the drive mappings show then?
If they do, on the systems that are having issues, make sure if they are laptops that the wireless is turned off. We've also had problems where Adobe CS4 is installed and the Novell Client won't map drives from the login banner but will from the desktop. In that case we discovered that Adobe Drive was causing our issues. We either removed Adobe Drive (nobody uses it anyway), or moved it to the bottom of the provider order.

Downgrading to NC-IR9a helped immediately.
There are definitely some issues with the new Novell Client 2 SP2 !
Other people here have the same drive mapping problems.

Hudo,
Curious, are you connecting to OES2 SP? servers or NetWare SP? or both?

If you can, I'd opt to open an SR against it. There is not much to "tweak" here that I know of.
I do have some questions:
-Besides the fact that drives are not being mapped, are there any errors that might be related (in script dialogs or the event logs) - and is the login process normal, fast or slow when the no drives issue happens?
-Also, are other commands in the login script processed or does it look as if the login script is not running at all?
-If you map the needed drives manually, they do stay connected?
