OES Client IR10 error 0x800703EE

Windows 10 1803
NCP Share
Slow performance accessing file for Windows 10 Pro 1803 + Novell Client IR6 and tried IR10 - same
Opening PDF or Word documents take MINUTES - these are small file < 100K
When browsing for a file get the "Circle"

When I try to copy a Folder from Server the with just 44 small files I get the error message

"Error 0x800703EE the Volume for a file has been externally altered so that the opened file is no longer valid"

Tried 3 computers running Windows 10 Pro 1803 - 1 had IR6 other 2 IR10 NEW Install

I have another server with CIFS - no novell client - that seems ok with the same Workstation

It would help of you provided more details about the server.

Does this issue exist with only one server?

What software, version, and patch level is the server?

Do the server logs provide any clues?

Other than this server using CIFS, what else is different?

Anti-virus is one thing that could mess with it, which one are you
running and can you test with it turned off.

Beyond that and Kevin's questions, this begs for a packet capture on
both the PC and the server to see where it is happening.
