OES Licensing...

Hello All.

I'm right in saying that the downloaded OES and sp2 software requires no
license unless you intend on running updates via red carpet online?

I downloaded the OES install cd's from our customer care site but no where
does the isntall prompt you for a license key?

Thank you people.

Re: OES Licensing...

You can get Suse that way but OES requires a licence because it has many
proprietary components.

True, but a license is not actually required to complete the installation
in the same way as a Netware install would require one. It is just paper
based licensing for the users. You will get a Red-Carpet upgrade key if
you buy an OES license.
