OK...I Give Up...

I have spent the past few weeks trying to get SUSE 10 and OES working
correctly and have had so many issues and have installed and re-installed so
many times that I can no longer waste any time.

NSS problems, CIMOM problems...the list goes on and on.

Novell has a lot of work to do with SUSE and OES before I can trust it for
prime time

All servers i set up and also the ones i migrated from netware are running sweet for many weeks now.

Re: OK...I Give Up...

OES 2 is a solid product on top of SLES10SP1, we have been running it almost a year now.

Also our OES1 SLES9SP3 servers have run without any problems over 1,5 years.

I agree with wrusman's comment.

Re: OK...I Give Up...

Jayson,

I feel your pain. This thing has given me a lot of headaches but I'm going
to stick it out. It'll be worth it in the long run.

Re: OK...I Give Up...

Looks like the 9th time was the charm. Finally everything is working.

I think the key is NOT to update (patch) any software until you have
everything configured.
