Password Change Issue

In the last three weeks we have experienced some sporatic issues with password changes. An individual is prompted to change their password and does but then gets the following error:

Login-LGNWNT32.DLL-100 Access has been denied

I am on Netware 6.5sp7 with edir 8.7.3.10

I have noticed that we do not experience the issue with the 4.91sp2 client but do have it with the sp3 and sp4 client.

Any words of wisdom?

Re: Password Change Issue

Do you just have this one server or do you have multiple servers?
Are you using universal password?
Do you have the NMAS client installed and NMAS login enabled? You can for example check this by right click on the red N, selecting the connections list and look at the last column in the connection list.

It happens on one server out of 19. We are using universal password and the nmas client is installed but login in disabled.

Re: Password Change Issue

You mean you have universal password enabled, but NMAS login disabled at
the client? That sopunds really bad and I really don't know how the client
is even supposed to behave on a password change.
