Password Policy Password Verification

Good Evening,

I have recently configured new NMAS password policies to deploy stronger
passwords in my environment. Everything works the way it is meant to
except the "verify" feature. Using myself for a test subject, I can use
my old password, which does not comply with the new rules, as long as I
want. When I initiate the password change myself, the new password must
comply with the new policy and all is good. Needless to say, I can't
force my users to change their passwords that way.

Can you point me in the right direction to troubleshoot this. I have read
everything I can find in the password managment documents, NMAS
documents, and whatever else may apply ... but haven't found what I need.

Thank you for you direction,

Tony

Re: Password Policy Password Verification

as joe says, expire their passwords. but don't do everyone at the same
time, they'll figure it out. do them in groups over the course of a
couple weeks...
