Quickest way to back-rev to March patches

I've just patched my OES11SP2 file servers to the May maintenance and my Kananaka clients can't see the CIFS volumes. What's the quickest way to go back to the March patch level?

thanks,
Andrew

Flipping Kanaka over to AFP instead of SMB seems to fix things but I am still curious about the way to roll back a monthly maintenance.

I'm guessing there is/are a particular package(es) that you want to back
rev rather than go back to all the package versions that make up the
March patch level.

What you will need to know is the package names and versions of the
relevant packages. You can get those either by grep'ing the zypper log
file @ /var/log/zypp/history or looking at the March patch file set on
download.novell.com/patch/finder

Once you have that you can then do "zypper in --oldpackage
<package>-<version>" for each package you want to revert back.

HTH.

Thanks for the reply Simon. Something in the samba or CIFS patches in May meant our SMB-based Kanaka config failed from either Mountain Lion or Yosemite so I was looking at that general area. And SMB shares from a test cluster not on the May patches worked. I take it there's no single way to roll back then? I have all my clustered file volumes shared out as RDMs so I can't snapshot my OES servers.
