Reconfigure IP pool without deleting

I want to change my ip pool range from 10.1.1.100 - 10.1.1.250 to
10.1.1.100 - 10.1.1.210 without having to delete the current pool. When
I go to iManager, there is no option to lower the ending range from .250
to .210. Please advise. (I'm using NW 6.5)

Thanks in advance.

Use DNSDHCP to export into a text file, delete, edit text file, import.

Re: Reconfigure IP pool without deleting

Depends, I just delete and recreate the pool, as you are decreasing the
range, I'd guess 210 - 250 aren't allocated anyway. Even if they are when
they come up for renewal, they will get different addresses. Deleting the
pool doesn't affect the existing DHCP ip address objects

Aaaack!! We're not swimming here (or maybe we are... :). But you
meant SAR, not pool, right? A pool is a completely different beast in
Novell's DHCP and folks here ofen confuse the terms, without our help

Re: Reconfigure IP pool without deleting

Well, the one that when you go to recreate it, you pick subnet address
range, so that would be the one, yep 🙂
