Remove a resource from cluster

Hello

I had a SAN resource that was not timemarking right so restores could not
occur if needed. The vendor suggest I create a new SAN resource and move
all the data to it from the old one. I kept the "old" one online for a
while to insure all users were moved over and using the new Resource.

I know have put the "bad" SAN resource in Comatose and want to remove the
virtual server and cluster information from eDirectory. How do I do that
correctly?

Re: Remove a resource from cluster

Easily 🙂

In C1 you can just delete the objects. then use NSSMU to kill off the
volumes/pools and Partitions. Then you will have a clean LUN ready
for reuse and the cluster control will loose interest in the missing
resource.
