SBCON "No Media is Present"-Tape Drive does not see media

I am trying to run SBCON from a NW6.5SP3 server with a Sony SDX-400c AIT
Drive. I cannot confirm that this drive is supported in SBCON; however,
I believe it should be OK. I can connect to the target server and SBCON
correctly reports my tape drive. However, it never recognizes the media
in the drive. I have tried several different tapes and used a cleaning
tape. Also, I have tried loading SBCON with NWASPI and NWTAPE at
different times with no results. This server is a Compaq ML370 and the
tape drive is a rebranded Sony sold by Compaq.
Is there a CDM that I should be loading here??

Thanks for any insights,

When you load NWTAPE.cdm, it tells you if the drive is not one of the
supported ones.

Thanks for the information. After loading the NWTAPE.cdm it reported that
my Sony SDX-400c was not supported. Looks like it is back to the drawing
board; either to find another drive or substitute driver.
Again Thanks for you help
