SNMP versions in NetWare? v1 vs v2 vs v3?

What version(s) of SNMP does NetWare 6.x include/support in the snmp.nlm?
RTFMing doesn't show any indications of which versions are included. based on timing I can see it readily supporting snmp v2, but backwards compatibility issues show it needs to be set-able, so not seeing that leads me to think it might only be snmp v1.

I have a client with a half dozen NetWare 6.x boxes (6.0.4 though 6.5.5 and they won't let me update them so don't ask) that we at least got all P2Ved.
they are trying to Point SolarWinds at them, but it fails.
We are early in the troubleshooting (in the new year/next week), so I am gathering data at this point and snmp version on NetWare is a big gap I see.

Hi
Looking at the MIBs from the document here;
https://www.novell.com/developer/ndk/netware_management_agent.html

For Netware 5.x they are at Version 2, so would imagine 6.x would be the same....

So on the systems is a snmp daemon running? Firewall? blocking snmp ports (161/162 tct/udp).

Are the Netware MIBs loaded on the Solarwinds host?

Can you walk/get on the local host? That would be the first step...

Are there lots of things they want to monitor, there is a tool I've used in the past to generate snmp traps based on log events if no snmp available. It's called sec (https://simple-evcorr.github.io/).

The snmp nlm is running on all of them. No local firewalls and tcpcon
shows the port as open with snmp on it.

Before we could test if they were routing through any firewall they tried
SNMP v1 and that worked, so they are happy to have the basics in place.
I will prod them for some further testing about getting up to v2. I would
guess that the Solarwinds system only has v1 mibs.

Hi
From the link provided, grab the zip file and grab the MiBs and loading
them on the monitoring system should work...
