SWAP File

Hello,
We have a Netware 6.5 SP7 and we are using the PKTScan to do some packet analisys.
But we detect that in SYS Volume the SWAP Memory File are increasing, it´s possible to delete this file without compromise the server integrity ?
Does the Volume Sys recreate this file automatically ?
Can someone help us ?
Thanks

please note that there have been services (such as IDM) which at times behaved sluggish without a swap file on SYS.
