Scope and SLP DA Question

Should the SLP DA's and Scope be configured on the client or handed out via a DHCP server?

Also, if not handed out via a DHCP server, then should the "static" check box be selected on both the Scope and Directory Agent?

Reason Im asking is that we're moving our DNS/DHCP from a Novell server to a 3rd party appliance (Infoblox). Infoblox "should" be able to hand out the SLP options consistently but I want to be on the safe side.

Thanks in advance.

Either configuration would work. The DHCP approach enables you to deploy this
information without touching every single workstation.

Yes, you must select the static check box on the client side.
