Server logical address space is running low

"9-21-2005 2:20:17 am: SERVER-5.70-3728 [nmID=120004]
Server logical address space is running low. File Cache Maximum Size has
been set to 1703235584."

What does that mean? I just installed NW65SP4 last night if that has
anything to do with it.

Thanks!

Susanne

Re: Server logical address space is running low

Another server that I install SP4 on has this message:

"Server logical address space is running low. Increase the available
logical space by restarting the server with the -u671252480 switch"

SP4 will auto tune memory - the message is an indication that the server
was configured with more memory for caching than it needed, and not
enough memory for other requirement - so the server auto adjusted the
memory available for caching.

Its anoth auto-tune message. Edit autoexec.bat, and ad the -uxxxxxx
setting after the call to server.exe. eg:

server.exe -u671252480
