Slow file open from network drive

I am using Win 7 64-bit and just downloaded and installed IR1. I had hoped that this would alleviated the "not responding" messages I have seen when opening files from network drives under the previous release. I also tried disabling the login script in an attempt to resolve the problem by mapping drives manually; this routine did not work. Is there another trick that has been used successfully by anyone? Thank you.

IR2 has just been released. You might want to give it a try.
