Software RAID in NW6.5 SP8

I'm wanting to set up a RAID 1 on my new Netware 6.5 SP8 server. I want mirrored hard drives, that way if one crashes, I've got the other one for redundancy. My master hard drive is in and the server is running perfectly. However, when I attach the secondary hard drive and attempt the RAID config in iManager, I get some error messages about storage pools. Does anyone have step-by-step instructions for creating a RAID 1 array in iManager?

Thanks!

Yes: Don't.

You're welcome. 😉

More seriously: Use NSSMU.

I'm curious. Why don't I want to use Novell RAID? What is NSSMU?

Like Massimo says, use NSSMU and RAID-1 is called "mirroring" there

He's not saying "don't use Novell RAID", he's saying "don't use iManager for that job". Load nssmu on the console.

Correct, thanks for the clarification. On rereading my message, I was
unclear.

Okay...that makes more sense. Is there a step-by-step tutorial for configuring nssmu? I would like to be able to install a second hard drive and just mirror it off the first drive for my first line of backup.

Did you try loading it? It's pretty self-explanatory.
