Start problems - Admin password

Hi all & Happy Easter

I'm new to iFolder and trying to setup it up for myself and family - using openSUSE 11.2.

Apache and SSL are configured and I login to iFolder is shown. iFolder should be configured too but I get denied when trying to login as admin.

The admin guide is careful read but don't know where I'm wrong? It's just a private & home network so no LDAP is provided which is also said no during setup. So I assume I'll be using Simias?

I know this is for an old version of iFolder but prehaps still valid? Here it helped to run 'simias-server-setup' but no change for me.

What have I missed? Thanks a lot in advance.

Thanks Thoms for quick reply. That's the exact page I'm trying to use and get this message:

"The username or password you entered is incorrect. Please log in."

What's the output of the /path/to/simias/ Simias.config file?

You could also try running simias-server-setup once again and configure ifolder. I have some memory of needing to run the simias-server-setup twice before I got it working.

Sorry for late reply - had family emergency to attend to.

Running 'simias-server-setup' again does not make any difference which means I still get denied as admin.

Output of /www/simas/data/simias/Simias.config file is:

Is apache the owner of the simias folder? If not then run:

Run chown -R <apache user>:<apache group> <data/store/path/simias>.

And also something wierd with your ifolder path I think.

One setting is pointing here:
<setting name="Path" value="/var/simias/data/simias"

Another setting is pointing here:
/www/simas/data/simias/Simias.config

Re: Start problems - Admin password

What version of iFolder have you installed? If the version is 3.8.1 you can try to use the stabel 3.8.0..
