Switch off and delete OES2 server

hello

I want to delete a server OES2sp1 (SLES10)

Could you give me procedure or help me ?

I suppose this :
1 : delete replica with i-manager
2 : delete object server in the e-directory with i-manager
3 : Switch off the server

could you help me please ?

Thank you.

I've found this :

ndsconfig rm -a cn=admin.o=org
e following object will still exist after removing eDirectory:

* Volume object(s) (As a unknow object, because it’s missing a mandatory property)
* SAS object
* SSL Certificate objects
* Unix Workstation object

insert
0) make sure your tree is healthy and you have multiple real replicas
of all partitions. If not this is where you can get messed up fast.
1A) make sure the replica ring is consistent and up to date
1B) on the server to be removed run
ndsconfig rm -a cn=admin.o=org
4) clean up any remaining server linked objects that are no longer
needed

That is what we are here for, just keep in mind that it is not anyone's
job to answer all questions. There are no SLA's in this sort of support
mechanism. We answer as we can, many of us here working on our own
challenges and learning from the rest as we help. Sometimes it will
take days for an answer. If you need faster, you need to open a
Service Request with Novell.
