TSAIF

According to the documentation (
http://www.novell.com/documentation/ifolder3/index.html?page=/documentation/ifolder3/admin/data/bx541lx.html )
,
in order to implement the iFolder3 TSA, I should issue "smsconfig -l tsaif
[OPTION]..." in an OES Linux terminal window.

Unfortunately, when I do so, I get the message that the command smsconfig is
not found.
I thought that SMS might not be installed but when I try to configure it,
YAST says that
SMS is already configured.

I am running OES Service Pack 1 which includes the latest version of
iFolder3.

What am I missing???

Thanks,

Re: TSAIF

Steve,

I have posted this elsewhere in the forum, but TSA was in its infancy in
the 3.1 release and then was not really updated in 3.2. Development on
TSA has not really progressed since then. I would recommend using a more
traditional backup method for the iFolder 3 datastore on the server.

That being said, the meta-data that goes with the datastore is important
and the dev team is investigating a better method of backing this up.
Hopefully its not too big of an issue since the very nature of iFolder
makes it relatively robust, ie; having the files on the client as well
as the server simultaneously.

Victor

Re: TSAIF

Sorry for the bandwidth. The command was not in the path. It turns out that,
when
I upgraded OES to SP1, TSAIF was automatically set up.

I take Victor's comments to heart though....
