Terminal Services Setup

We have been running T/S on 2003 with the MS client only using CIFS and
NFAP to map drives.

Because of a bug in CIFS that Novell will not fix (even though they
know it's a bug), I have been forced to use the Novell Client.

1. Would prefer to have the MS login appear on the T/s login so as to
keep things consistent

2. Would like to have MS pass the credentiasl along to the Novell
client AND run the Novell Login script

Is this possible ?

Steve

Re: Terminal Services Setup

I don't know if it will work on Windows 2003 TS, but try to change the following in the client settings, advanced login.
Set "Initial Novell login" to OFF. Note that transparent login will only work if the context is set correctly, or if alternately, contextless login is enabled. In that context, you might also check the following TID:

Re: Terminal Services Setup

I presume the following keys are String type ?

Steve

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Novell\Login]
"TSClientAutoAdminLogon"="1"
"DefaultLocationProfile"="Default"

According to the following TID, the first key is of type dword:

Re: Terminal Services Setup

Still no luck here ...
I've tried the registry settings and setting the "Initial Novell login"
to OFF

The CIFS NFAP login script always runs and the Novell login script does
not
