TimeSync

Hi,

I have a problem with my servers being in sync. This started to happen
this morning. The primary time server can reach the NTP site which is
time.windows.com (if anybody else has another one to use then please let
me know) but it is saying:

192.168.1.3 NTP Source Not in Sync. Discarding the packet.
*** Unable to communicate with server 192.168.1.3:123! ***

It seems to be complaining about not communicating with itself. What
diagnosing steps can be taken? Any good documentation?

Thanks for any guidance.

*The* primary server? Are we talking about a SINGLE reference? Please tell
us how your servers are set up. For nets with 30 and below servers, the
best config is one SINGLE and the rest SECONDARY.

Re: TimeSync

These are the three that we use on our single reference:

140.221.9.6:123
130.126.24.44:123
130.126.24.24:123

Re: TimeSync

What NW and SP version? Can we see the timesync.cfg from that server pls.

Also you might check there isn't a duplicate IP address issue here.
