UP and verify current password

We have a Universal Password policy with "verify current password"
enabled. Upon login with a password that violates the currently
assigned policy, the user should be prompted to change but they are not.

Is there something that needs to be set on the client for this to work?

NMAS Authentication is enabled. We are using 4.91 SP2.

Thanks

Re: UP and verify current password

1. Have you seen this TID?
http://support.novell.com/cgi-bin/search/searchtid.cgi?10096960.htm

2. This link indicates:
http://www.novell.com/documentation/password_management31/index.html?page=/documentation/password_management31/pwm_administration/data/an4bun5.html

If this option is selected, when users log in through iManager or the
iManager self-service console, their existing passwords are checked to
make sure they comply with the Advanced Password Rules in the users’
Password Policy. If an existing password does not comply, users are
required to change it.
