Users with Space Restrictions

Good morning,

We just created a new volume and I would like to know is there a way to copy user restrictions from one volume to another from the same server???

Thanks

Re: Users with Space Restrictions

You should be able to do so with trustee.nlm.

USe the /EU option during the trustee backup on the source volume and then
restore the file against the destination volume.

Re: Users with Space Restrictions

I got the trustee.nlm to output the csv but when I try to restore
user1 is the new volume

I get an error

invalid Parameter user1:

Steps I did
Load Trustee /EU Save user: sys:user.csv

Load Trustee /EU user1: restore sys:user.csv

Re: Users with Space Restrictions

You should use the /R option with the appropriate volume name to make the
trustee file volume independent.
