Utility to Enumerate List of Users and User Rights

In order to complete a SAS70 audit, I need to provide a list of all Netware accounts and their associated group memberships and resulting permissions. Is there any tool/utility that would provide something like this?

Thanks...Aaron

NDSReport or Quick from Wolfgang Screiber or something from the JRB

Yes...in lieu of taking screen shots of the permissions tab and membership tab of dozens of groups, I'm looking to for a utility that will say in X container you have Y groups...their members are Z and the resources the group has permission to access are A,B,&C

Re: Utility to Enumerate List of Users and User Rights

You can do this with our DSRAZOR for eDirectory/NDS and NetWare product.
Try the applet called "Simple User Details View" in the Query and Search NDS
section of the DSRAZOR Console. Currently the applet includes the group
membership, file system rights, and ZEN application associations. All
DSRAZOR applets are customizable so if you'd like we can remove the ZEN
application associations or replace it with something else that may be more
relevant to you (department, location, etc). The applet can be run manually
or be changed to send its results directly out to a file to be run as an EXE
that can be automated with a task scheduler. A 7-day evaluation is

Re: Utility to Enumerate List of Users and User Rights

I know there was a way to do this with a command line utility built into Novell (NLIST) I think. But for the life of me I can't remember it, although I do remember that it was pretty long with a bunch of switches. If anyone has a clue what it might be please help. It may be something other than NLIST.

Re: Utility to Enumerate List of Users and User Rights

You cann't get rights using NLIST since file system rights are not stored
in DS but on the volumes (DETs) instead.

Re: Utility to Enumerate List of Users and User Rights

Rights.exe or possibly better trustee.nlm

Cheers Dave

For best results, I'd use trustee.nlm.
