Windows 7/8 machines not seeing printer shares.
Hi,
I am quite new to this so please bare with me. I am upgrading a number of XP systems in an existing netware environment. One issue I have found is that any machine running windows 7 or higher cannot see the printer shares set up on the server. XP machines can see these printer shares with no issues. Am I missing something here (most likely)?
Thanks
Josh

Printer shares? I assume these printers are NDPS ones? If so, NDPS as such
is not supported on Win7 and above, so you must use iPrint, which is
really only a layer on top of NDPS (on NW) anyway.

I would even assume they're queue based.

even iPrint gets *very* long in it's teeth on Netware. Forget anything
newer than Win7, and even that is fragile.

Sure. I definitely recommend OES as a backend for iPrint
