backup exec 2012 on windows server backing up netware 6.5

Is it possible to use Backup Exec 2012 on a Windows server and use the Remote agent for Netware on a Netware 6.5 server?

I know it is not supported by Symantec, but just wondered if this solution will work. (I know Backup Exec 2010 and the remote agent for Netware does work, but I can't get Backup Exec 2010 anymore.

Thanks
John

Presumably you've already found http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH138202 ?

If the Netware servers you want to back up are in production then I'm not
sure I'd want to rely on an unsupported method to protect them. Time to
look for a replacement backup solution methinks!
