c1 1.3.6f crash when running NDS User Security Report

I don't know why I haven't tried these reports before in the past, but
I'm just starting to dabble in them and I think they would be very useful
for our SOX documentation.

The problem is everytime I try to run a report from the query screen
(trustees assignment specifically, but any will do this) c1 crashes and
nothing is generated. I've tried running c1 on a server as well as just
running it on my local system the results are the same. Do I need to do
some prep work to make these report work or should they work straight
after installing them? I see to do anything with the forms one needs to
purchase JReport Designer. I would hope I could get some type of user
rights report w/o purchasing another product.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

no one runs them. they use wolfgang schreiber's free utilities:
dsreport and dssec.
