Do you mean NW6.5 with SP4a applied? If not you should apply SP4a
immediately. Then do:

nss /poolrebuild /purge

on the affected pool(s); make sure you have tested backups first, just
in case.

No. As a minimum you must apply n65nss3a before rebuilding, preferably
nw65sp4a.

Re: can't see files in directory

No. You must apply current NSS code and do a rebuild.

hello andrew,

I have applied n65nss3A und made you workaround with
nss /poolrebuild /purge, but it still dosen't work. It is always the same
problem. I can´t see files from "k-z". do you think that i should try
n65nss5A? have you some good ideas?

thanks

Yes, but to do that you must apply nw65sp5 and nw65os5a first; only then
apply the nss update, and do the Rebuild again as before.

beta patch in our productive enviroment. do you think that nw65sp5 with
n65nss5 is not adequate? or is it possible to fix it with an other workaround?

Yes.

Sure you can. It's quite solid and perfectly OK for production use, I
wouldn't recommend it otherwise.

Re: can't see files in directory

hello andrew,

my last post about this case is a few weeks ago. last weekend i had applyed
sp5, nss5a and nw65os on those server nodes. because the problem is also
the same? i have a new cognition about this case. when i go to the server
console and type bash the consoel enviroment change to linux bash an the i
can use the linux commands. so i change to the directory where the files
resident and make ls and all files are displayed on the server console
corect? whats hapend with this system. what can i do to fix this problem.
Is it posible that is a SAN problem or a cluster filesystem problem? any
helps welcome...

thanks anabel

Re: can't see files in directory

Use NSS /NCPDisplayNonTranslatableNames

Normunds
