cant login with afp or cifs

Background:

Just upgraded several servers in 1 location to NW6 from 5.1 and 5.0.
Put Native file services for unix, mac, and windows on main file
server.
That works great.
Later installed the native file access like above with netware 6 sp3 overlay cd in order to be able to access one if its volumes without a

client. Installation went fine.
This server it went on is a groupwise webaccess server using
apache/tomcat. The server name is eopgweb

Now for the problem. After the install and reboot I could not access

eopgweb_w on windows. Even though I did not need a x_w dns entry for
my
other files server to successfully ping it I put that into our dns and

restarted everything. At this point I am now at least getting a login

screen when I double click on eopgweb_w in the workstation group.
When I
try to login with a username and simple password I know works because
it
works on the other server I get the following error:

\\Eopgweb_w is not accessible. You might not have permission to use
this
resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you

have access permissions.

An unexpected network error occurred.

On rare ocassions I will not get the above error and it will just come

back to the username/password box with eopgweb_w\(username) in the
username box. However the nmas log is identical regardless of which
way
it does not work. Here is the log...

One other note is when an OSX mac tries to login they get a login box
but
just get incorrect username and password back everytime they try to
log
in.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Ben

Re: cant login with afp or cifs

Run NMASMON on server: 0: Server CN=CBSTL2.OU=STL.O=opg will be
used for remote session
(or all of the replica holding servers for the stl.opg container, the
error message will probably show up there)

Re: cant login with afp or cifs

Ok I ran it on the server with the replica (cbstl2) and this is what I

get. This is actually me trying to log in with one user name, where
its
coming back with the username/password screen. Then trying another
username where is giving me the unexpected network error.
