console monitor

We have a NW6.5 sp6 server. Console monitor|active connections|open files shows only file name. How can we see open file full path with dir and volume name?

The Novell Remote Manager will show that.

https://servername:8009/

Under volume-management, click on the circled I. This will take you to an
Information page about the volume. There is a link called "View Open Files".
This will take you to a list of open files by connection.

It'll look like this:

Connection: 0, User Name: UTILSRV3
SYS:/_SWAP_.MEM
SYS:/SYSTEM/DS.LOG
SYS:/ETC/CONSOLE.LOG
SYS:/SYSTEM/MKDE/LOG/LAST_SEG.LOG
SYS:/SYSTEM/PRODAUD3.DB
SYS:/ETC/VOLMN/VOLMNCHK.DAT

and so on.

I don't understand
why on our NW6.5 sp6 server1 console monitor shows open file WITH
full path
but on our NW6.5 sp6 server2 console monitor shows open file WITHOUT full path

Re: console monitor

Perhaps you could post the config info from both servers? You'll probably have to do it as attachments, even using the NRM config list, and Andrew prefers the config tool in fconfig16 from the Novell download site.

Make sure any sensistive info like rconsole passwords, IPs, etc, are masked.
