Re: directory report

When I'm in that directory at a command prompt I type in rights .a (rights
than a space .a) I receive a message saying the specified file or
directory cannot be found.

..a? Type in rights . /t (rights then a space followed by . /t)

Re: directory report

Ok Andy, that looks ok but here's what I'm seeking..I have a parent
directory that only admins have rights to, under that directory are child
directories that users have rights to...What I would like to do is, by
user name, see what directories they have rights to and what those rights
are..in addition, for those child directories, I would like to send to a
file, a list (summary) of who has rights to what directory and what those
rights are......That is my goal...Thank you...

Re: directory report

Try using trustee.nlm, that will give you a list of all the rights.

Trustee as Dave suggested or use /s/c/t on the rights command. Not very
nicely formatted output but will give you the information.
