dns client refresh

After I make a change to my resource records, I would like to be able to access the dns server immediately and have the change be reflected. What is necessary for this to happen on a client pc with static ip?

Re: dns client refresh

On the server side, you may need to restart NAMED.NLM -- results can
vary with different NW/NAMED versions.
