does tsands (libtsands.so.?) exist in OES1

I see it in OES2, but have looked on a couple of OES1SP2 servers and
cannot find it.

Well, according to the OES1 documetation, it doesn't exist on OES1/Linux:

Notw however that tsands is used to make an object level NDS backup and if
you use tsands, it is enough to have it running on a single server in your
tree. You don't need to have it running on every server in your tree. If
instead you want to do database level eDirectory backups, then you should
look into the backup tools included with eDirectory:
