error installing win32 ifolder3 client!

Hi!
I am unable to install the ifolder3-client on serveral windowsxp/w2k
(GERMAN!) clients.
after installing the dotnet-things I am getting the error message:
"sl58.tmp - common language runtime debugging services
application has generated an exception that could not be handled.
process id=0xa7c(2684), thread id=0xf28 (3880)...."
any ideas ??????
I have tried several clients, but the error exists, except with file
ifolder3-3.4.5343.1-1-setup.exe. but with this version sharing the files
is not possible

thanks ahead
chris
